The Dead Sea Ultra Marathon « Run To The Lowest Point On Earth »

The Dead Sea Ultra Marathon (DSUM) has witnessed over a decade of rising national and international recognition with the joint effort of the Society for the Care of Neurological Patients (SCNP) and Amman Road Runners, under the patronage of HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid. The DSUM is held annually every April on the first or second Friday, from Amman to the Dead Sea. It is the main fund raising event for the SCNP, which provides neurological patients with medical aid and covers the costs of necessary surgeries for the needy. So far, the Society has contributed to the treatment of 1150 cases . The SCNP is funded by donations from individuals, public and private companies, annual membership fees, as well as proceeds of sports events. The Society anticipates expanding its role in the treatment of neurological patients and becoming a developmental organization-creating social and technical programs in cooperation with related official and non-official sectors. The DSUM  had a successful  record of accomplishment since it first started. Several world record runners and champions participated, the year 2009 run broke all records, it marked a turning point in the future of the event as a national and international athletic, touristic and above all charitable event with the continuous support of Jordanian organizations with more than 4100 runners representing 48 nationalities. The 17^th Dead Sea Ultra Marathon will take place on April 9^th 2010, more than 5000 participants are expected to participate.

[cincopa AQGAoWK_sOT3]je teste aujourd’hui un nouveau plugin pour afficher une galerie photo, une vidéo ou un slideshow dans un article. Ce plugin est téléchargeable ici. L’installation est des plus classiques et son utilisation des plus intuitives. Une fois l’archive .zip décompressée, uploader le dossier dans votre dossier /plugins/ puis rendez-vous dans votre panneau d’administration pour activer l’extension nouvellement créée…

A partir de cet instant, lorsque vous rédigerez ou modifierez un article, vous avez la possibilité d’y intégrer une galerie photo, une vidéo ou un slideshow. Pour cela, cliquez sur l’icône C dans la barre d’outils de la rédaction des articles, vous serez ensuite dirigé vers le site où vous pourrez créer votre galerie pas à pas et ce d’une manière très simple.

Une des qualités de ce plugin, outre sa prise en main, est de ne pas utiliser l’espace de son serveur puisque les photos de la galerie sont uploadées sur le site du plugin et non sur notre blog…

Côté obscure du truc, après quelques manip, est qu’on ne peut l’insérer au coeur du texte, à moins que je n’ai pas encore trouvé comment faire ou que la possibilité soit réservée à la version compléte, car vous l’avez compris, ce plugin n’est pas gratuit et nous avons 14 jours d’essais gratuit seulement :-(
